Outpatient Lactation Services in Michigan
International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) or Registered Lactation Consultants (RLC) have passed the International Board Certification Examination and recertify every 5 years. IBCLCs have the experience and skills necessary to help mothers breastfeed their babies in both routine and challenging situations. IBCLC services can include : prenatal breastfeeding education, postnatal hospital, clinic, and office visits, home visits, educational literature, rental of hospital-grade electric breast pumps, new mothers' support groups
